Calibrating risk oversight |
In September, 2015 KPMG Co., a leader in the market for audit and advisory published the “Calibrating risk oversight” Insight which raises the question of management and scaling of risk in enterprises, especially in the context of the strategy. Presidents and Members of the Supervisory Boards of a number of selected companies from around the world were invited to create that publications, including Artur Gabor – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LEW Group S.A. Insight provides answers to the key questions for modern business: do managements have the opportunity and time to re-evaluate the risks at the dynamic development of the organization?; how do boards deal with cyber risk prediction?; how does communication and relationship of management with the people responsible for risk management look like?; how do boards encourage members of staff to cope with the risk that is inherent to the development of companies? is divided Artur Gabor shared an interesting observation in terms of the maturity of the organization in risk management. Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa LEW SA notes that in Poland the question of the risks associated with cyber risk is still neglected by the auditors, whilst the preparation and implementation of appropriate procedures to combat it is necessary for the companies security.
