GIŻYCKO RESIDENT CARD is a project addressed to the residents of Giżycko. The card provides access to a wide catalogue of discounts and exemptions, including discounts for a municipal swimming pool, ice rink or ticket events. The card’s operator is the Municipal Office in Giżycko. The card was created in cooperation with Grupa LEW S.A.
GRC can be received by:
• persons who settle income tax at the Tax Office in Giżycko and declare in their tax return that their place of permanent residence is the city of Giżycko,
• persons receiving permanent benefit from the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Giżycko,
• family members of such who do not receive income, whose permanent place of residence is the city of Giżycko, ie: an unemployed spouse, children (or persons under legal care) until the age of 18, and continuing education until the age of 25.
GRC user will receive a discount on:
• paid events organized by the Giżycko Cultural Center,
• paid activities for children organized by the city’s organizational units,
• individual entrance tickets / passes to the following facilities: MOSiR indoor swimming pool and Mazury Ice Sports Center along with equipment rental,
• events organized from the city budget,
• entrance tickets to the Boyen Fortress in Giżycko (except for paid events),
• tickets for film screenings in the Nowa Fala cinema in Giżycko.
Furthermore:
• priority in accepting children of the Card holders to educational institutions run by the city,
• priority of admission to free events organized by the city, for which the admission is limited,
• free travels by public transport in Giżycko.
